Compotec 2018 gets increasingly technological
Compotec, with its strong trade tradition, is organising for the 2018 edition a special proposal of technology sharing dedicated to Cross Sector Innovation, an opportunity to bring the world of research and companies to confront the technological increase between advanced industrial sectors creating a network of discussion, business contacts and incentive for collaboration.
Are you interested in the world of composite materials/marine to which you have something new to offer, but you operate in different sectors and you wish to find interlocutors for your activity?
Are you looking for a partner for R&D activities that belong to the composite or nautical sector?
Within Compotec Seatec 2018, the Cross-Sector Innovation Area is a tool for cooperation in research and development. An area of technology transfer meetings between companies and universities but also between companies in different but complementary sectors. Complementarity of resources is one of the main determinants of the cooperation between companies in R&D activities and often such complementarity resides in vertical cooperations with suppliers and customers but also between companies operating in different sectors.
To give an example, a new material widely tested and used in the automotive sector could also be introduced in the nautical or construction sector.
Here the sectors intersect, speak, collaborate and what results is a technological advancement of all the sectors involved.
How to participate:
To access the conditions reserved for this area, companies:
- cannot have an ATECO code referable to the composite or nautical sector;
- must have never exhibited at a composites or nautical fair;
- must have a product and/or service adaptable to the composite and/or nautical sectors.
Registration deadline: February 20, 2018.
